• The Basics of Backgammon Game Plans – Part 1

The objective of a Backgammon game is to move your pieces around the Backgammon board and pull them from the board quicker than your challenger who works harder to achieve the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a match in Backgammon needsrequires both tactics and good luck. How far you can shift your pieces is up to the numbers from tossing the dice, and the way you move your pieces are determined by your overall gambling techniques. Enthusiasts use a few tactics in the differing stages of a game dependent on your positions and opponent’s.

    The Running Game Strategy

The aim of the Running Game technique is to lure all your pieces into your inside board and pull them off as fast as you could. This plan focuses on the pace of moving your chips with no time spent to hit or block your competitor’s pieces. The ideal time to use this plan is when you think you can move your own chips a lot faster than the opponent does: when 1) you have less pieces on the board; 2) all your chips have moved beyond your opponent’s pieces; or 3) your opposing player doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking technique.

    The Blocking Game Technique

The primary aim of the blocking tactic, by its name, is to block the competitor’s pieces, temporarily, not worrying about moving your pieces quickly. As soon as you have established the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a few checkers, you can move your other chips quickly from the game board. The player will need to also have a good strategy when to withdraw and shift the checkers that you used for blocking. The game becomes intriguing when the opposition uses the same blocking technique.
